Name: Purrol Age: 54 Gender: Male Rank/Craft: Master Dolphineer Residence: Founders' Tip Hold - Dolphineer Complex Description: Purrol stands a little over six feet tall, and he has the powerful build of a long-distance swimmer. His eyes are dark blue and the short-cut hair is sandy in colour. He has a jagged scar down his ribs on the left side of his chest as a reminder of a stormy rescue mission many Turns ago. Personality: Always a loner among humans, Purrol gets along remarkably well with dolphins. He is patient with a deep-rooted sense of humour, both qualities marking him as a good teacher for both humans and dolphins who are only learning to deal with their two-legged companions. To a stranger Purrol can seem grumpy and gruffy, but to a friend or acquaintance he is at least polite. For the longest time he was quite happy being just a Journeyman in rank, but with the opening of the new Dolphin Hall at Founders' Tip, he accepted the chance to undergo the Master's evaluation process, and was made Hallmaster soon after the fledgling Hall was created late in Turn 36. Background: Purrol was among the first Dolphineers to be trained during the 9th Pass, and has since then served in coastal areas almost all over the globe, often spending more time in the sea than on land. When he was thirty-three, he lost his youngest sister in a raid to his home cothold, and after that his only true friend among humans has been his brother-in-law, with whom he still shares the grief of losing Purdal. Moving to Western Continent with a small group of other dolphineers, Purrol has set about establishing better ties between the local pods and the humans venturing out to sea. As the currently only Master Dolphineer in the area, he is also in charge of the few Apprentices there are, and this has clipped his time to go exploring to the minimum - a fact that he somewhat resents, but yet considers a fair deal. Dolphin's Name: Eepos Dolphin's Age: 31 Turns Gender: Male Physical Description: Ten feet long, with dark blue-grey back and lighter grey belly, Eepos is the very image of a healthy male dolphin. The very tip of his dorsal fin is missing - a memento from his past adventures. Personality: One would think by Eepos's age that he's a steady, mature gentleman, but in truth he's anything but. He is very intelligent and often uses this intellect to come up with new pranks to play on his hapless human companion. However, as there is a bond of deep friendship and love between him and Purrol, Eepos wouldn't hesitate to give his life for his friend.
