Description: Ei'nyt is 6'2" tall, with wide shoulders, bulky frame and a bit of a gut. That, however, is strong fat - he just can't be bothered to work for a six-pack stomach like some of the younger men do. He has dark brown, almost black hair that he has kept short since what he refers to as the Porridge Incident. His eyes are green-grey, and his skin - originally the pale tone of a Northener - is now tanned almost all over due to the long Turns spent in the South. He is 55 Turns old, but he looks younger, thanks to the revitalizing effect of being bonded to a dragon. His facial features are coarse, and the only one ever to call him handsome was a blind man he once dated.

Most of the left side of Ei'nyt's body is one big Threadscar. It starts right above where his left ear should be, continues down the side of his neck, engulfs his shoulder - on his left arm it stops at the elbow - goes on down his ribs and left hip, thigh and the side of his shin. Because of the extensive scarring, he has trouble raising his left arm above the shoulder level, and both his left arm and leg are weaker than their right side counterparts. He walks with a slight limp, but has learned to compensate well enough to be able to continue Threadfighting.

Personality: Raunchy, boisterous and witty are all words that could have as well been invented to describe Ei'nyt in his usual state of mind. He is not one you would ask to join a quiet evening meal, but would be the ideal person for a rowdy after-Fall party or a drinking contest. When the mood hits or the situation calls for it, however, Ei'nyt can be quiet and gentle, sensitive to the other person's mood. Quite often, though, he simply chooses not to be.

Ei'nyt's independent streak makes it hard for him to respect any authority just for their rank's sake and dealing with him can be frustrating for his Wingleader, since he tends to get into trouble - either by accident or purpose - take the punishment and then just forget about it. This doesn't mean that he wouldn't learn from his errors, but that he simply thinks that most people take life too seriously and a little fun never harmed anyone. Having had a close shave with death, Ei'nyt doesn't see any point in applying on himself any rules that he considers silly.

Background: Snatched from a seacrafter's life, Ei'nyt Impressed at the age of seventeen, easily old enough to remember his childhood when Thread did not yet fall. As the Pass began, all dragonmen had to re-learn the skills of fighting the ancient menace, and in that those who were newly Impressed, didn't fare much worse as the older riders. The following Turns saw Ei'nyt and Piareth in other Weyrs as well, but about five Turns into the Pass the green rider found himself in the Southern Weyr, where he made some long-lasting friends, as well as having his first and so far only sexual experience with a woman. Unknown to him, this encounter during a gold's flight also resulted in a child to be born.

Ei'nyt was among the founders of the Ithaca Weyr, one of the greenriders who had already shown their mettle and could be trusted not to just goof off once released from the vigilant watch by their former Wingleaders. He recently met the Master Harper Ivelyn, learning from him about the passing of the last of his old friends from the time of the first Fall of the present Pass. That news, as well as another revelation that was recently quite literally dumped on him, have somewhat shaken Ei'nyt up, though he'll admit as much to only a select few.

Description: Pale green scars adorn Piareth's left side and wingshoulder as mementoes from the Scoring that nearly put her and Ei'nyt out of action for good. Just as stubborn as the big man, she was certain that together they would overcome the limitations left by the injury, and they succeeded. The rest of her hide is darker green with bluish undertones on her belly and tail. She is of average size for a green.

Personality: Piareth is a sensible old auntie with a playful and mischievous streak. She doesn't hesitate to scold a foolish younger dragon, no matter what the colour of their hide, but she also isn't above sweeping her rider off his feet and gently sitting on him, if she thinks it would be funny.
