Blue Rider M'terek
Name: M'terek Description: 6’2”, blond, blue-eyed with a strong jaw and a very bright smile, M’terek (pronounced Muh-TEH-rek) is stereotypically good-looking. Personality: Young, dumb, and full of…. Uh, you get the idea. If M’terek is not very bright and has tendencies towards vanity, he is at least good-natured, happy-go-lucky, and generally fun to be around. Being possessed of an almost childlike nature, it should come as no surprise that he is very good with kids. Background: M’terek was born at Igen Weyr, the child of two dragonriders. Like most weyrbrats, he had little contact with his biological parents, but received plenty of affection from his foster mother and siblings. At age 15 he stood on the sands and Impressed Kohdeth. He spent the better part of the next 6 Turns at Igen, but then transferred south as a change of pace. This did not work out quite the way he intended. All things being equal, he would have remained happily in the south, but an unfortunate liaison with green rider D’son in the last Turn ended in disaster. D’son, green Veekith’s rider, was weyrmated to a consumate alcoholic who died in Fall the day after his blue lost to M’terek’s in Veekith’s mating flight. The ensuing condemnation of D’son by his closest friends, plus the viciousness of the Weyr rumor mill was something for which M’terek was not prepared. Although most of the public vitriol was aimed at D’son, the blue rider decided at first to maintain a low profile and then to head north to see if he couldn’t get a fresh start. In general, he likes his new home, Ithaca Weyr. And if it’s a bit cold, well, there are any number of handsome young men who are happy to keep him warm under the furs. What more could a blue rider ask for?
Dragon's Name: Khodeth Physical Description: Kohdeth is a bright sky blue dragon of medium length. Personality: He is the perfect match for M’terek. Uncomplicated and friendly, he lives each day comfortable in the knowledge that his rider is the kindest, handsomest man on the planet. To his way of thinking it is impossible that anyone could dislike either of them. Last Updated: 05/01/2006 |
