It took a near-break-up for Je'dec to fully come to realize how much he loves S'gren and how important the greenrider's companionship is to him. So from now on, as a dedicated and passionate lover to the greenrider, Je'dec fully intends to do everything he can to enjoy his life, instead of brooding on past or what might have been.

Background: As a reckless youth, Jengdecar was always getting into trouble or fights or both. As a Weyrbred lad he put himself forward to be Searched for Igen's clutches, but being a Candidate and especially being rejected didn't help to improve his personality much. This added to personal problems involving his first love, finally drove him from the Weyr to wandering, but, after more than a Turn spent searching for his own place in the world, he decided to return, having not found a place that felt more like home to him than Igen Weyr.

Shortly after his return, he was Searched once more and, deciding this was the last time he was going to stand on the sands, Jengdecar agreed. Finally Impressing after many unsuccesful tries helped him to calm down somewhat. The responsibilities of a weyrling taught him both patience and discipline, but only after forgetting them in a Threadfall right after being assigned to a fighting wing caused an error that was nearly fatal to both him and Oluth, was Je'dec able to settle down into his new way of life.

After achieving full recovery from the bad Threadscores, the bluepair applied for a transfer to a Weyr on the Southern Continent, where they fought against Thread for about 13 Turns. He had several acquaintances and buddies there, but no truly meaningful relationships until he met S'gren.

It was just two months after moving back to his own weyr since his non-existent relationship with Xi'rah had ended, that Je'dec found himself in yet another green rider's weyr, as he happened to be the one to comfort S'gren after the green rider had lost five of his wingmembers in a tragic accident during a Threadfall. After some stumbling early on in their relationship, Je'dec realized that he had unexpectedly fallen in love with the smallish green rider.

When there came a chance to transfer to the Western Continent and Ithaca Weyr with his newly-acquired friends, R'kar and D'son, not to mention his established lover, S'gren, Je'dec didn't hesitate much, even though the colder climate will no doubt take some getting used to. Especially as S'gren seems to be keen on playing in the snow and then coming to bed to cuddle with his 'hot bluerider'.

Personality: A fierce warrior against Thread, a gentle giant otherwise, Oluth especially enjoys the company of children enormously. He likes his weyrmate, green Eydith almost as much as Je'dec loves her rider, and prefers to bask in the sun with her rather than chase after other greens..
