Name: M'aharan (NPC/Free) Age: 38 Gender: Male Rank/Craft: Wingsecond Residence: Ithaca Weyr Description: M'aharan is a dark-skinned man with black, curly hair that he keeps only an inch long or so. He stands 6'2" tall and while still sporting the musculature of half a lifetime spent dragon-riding, he has let some fat to gather to his waist. M'karan has a wide, almost lightning-shaped Threadscore that runs down from his right hip, ending halfway down his calf. Personality: This brownrider has a wry sense of humor, that often gets him past many obstacles in life. He has little patience for foolish people and always drills obedience and loyalty to the Wing into the minds of his Wingmates, but he is also pretty good at judging people not by appearances but actions. Background: According to M'aharan, his childhood was as dull as any Holdboy's; chores, chores and chores. Then came the Search that changed his life forever. He left behind an eager bride-to-be and parents fuming at ruined wedding plans, but instead gained the prestige of a brown dragon's lifemate, which made even his hard-to-please parents proud. After Impression, it was back to chores, chores and chores, even though his duties now involved caring for his dragon, fighting Thread and, eventually, after transferring to Ithaca, helping to lead a Wing. Dragon's Name: Rinnith Color: Brown Age: 21 Age of Rider at Impression: 17 Description: While average in length, Rinnith has slightly shorter wings than a perfectly proportioned dragon, which gives him slightly better maneuverability in the air. His hide is dark brown. Personality: Rinnith shares his rider's wry humor, but with the added twist of dragon logic, which sometimes makes it hard for M'aharan to share in on the fun. |
