Name: Xi'rah Age: 30 Gender: Male Rank/Craft: Green Rider Residence: Ithaca Weyr Description: Six feet tall with deep green eyes and dark brown hair, Xi'rah [KSEE-ruh] knows he's considered sexy by most men so inclined, and is not above flaunting himself. Personality: "Character is what you are -- reputation is what people think you are." If one listens to the Weyr rumours, Xi'rah easily comes across as an independent, thoughtless and heartless green rider, whose favourite pastime is to sleep his way through the Weyr's male population. Those few who know him better, also know that Xi'rah's jaded attitude is the result of getting burned in a recent relationship gone wrong. Xi'rah is very playful, to the extent of being downright foolhardy when it comes to doing something daring or dangerous that no self-respecting dragonrider would ever attempt. Background: If you want to know Xi'rah's life story, you only have to ask. Being Weyrbred, through and through, Ximiranah - or Ximi [KSEE-mee] for short - lived in Southern Weyr with most of his large and sprawling family. Aware of his own inclinations from an early age on, Ximi was just happily surprised when the little green hatchling Irmeth decided to make him Xi'rah, her very own rider. After fifteen Turns of being a dragonrider, Xi'rah is of the opinion that life could not be better. Despite his long career of Threadfighting, Xi'rah doesn't have many friends apart from his family, but has felt some sort of kinship with blue rider Je'dec, and has recently befriended green rider D'son, who helped him cope with the sudden end of his only meaningful relationship so far. When Ithaca Weyr was established in T35PP, Xi'rah's mother decided to move her numerous family to the new Weyr to help populate it with people familiar with Weyrlife. Not having anything connecting him to Southern, Xi'rah decided to follow. As a seasoned and capable Threadfighter, he and his green were welcomed by the Weyr's leadership, and they have since then been a part of the Iron Wing. Dragon's Name: Irmeth Color: Green Age: 15 Age of Rider at Impression: 15 Description: Irmeth's wingspan is wider than it should be for a perfectly proportioned dragon, but otherwise she is on the smaller side of the average size for greens. Her hide is just a shade lighter than Xi'rah's eyes - a deep, lively, jungle green. Personality: Just as sensual and self-confident as her rider, Irmeth is wont to chat up any male that happens to be near her, but Xi'rah's opinion of any particular rider influences her greatly. Together with her rider, Irmeth is very adept at navigating any kind of weather, which can be very useful in Threadfall and surprising wind conditions. As a basically very sensible and down-to-earth green, Irmeth often acts as a damper to her rider's excessively rollicking behaviour. She sometimes simply denies her help from Xi'rah when he needs her for some dangerous stunt, doing her best to prevent him from hurting himself. Most of the time she is successful.
