Description: Rangy, tall & long limbed in build with fair skin and light brown hair. Has ice blue eyes set in an oval face that has an aquiline nose and thin lips. There is a dimple in his chin. He has a quick and ready smile. Weight is less than proportionate to build and gives him the appearance of being too thin. This thinness belies the existing muscular strength. He is what some would call wiry. He has 29 turns.

Personality: Happy-go-lucky in all things, yet has great intensity when the situation requires concentration and attention. At those times he is most dependable and many want him as their wingman. He is rather mellow most of the time and is not easily angered. He is somewhat of a prankster and a flirt. He has not entered into any long relationships with women.

Background: The only son of a dragonrider and his weyr mate. He grew up in tune with nature. Learning came easily and his parents were not harsh in his upbringing. He impressed the Brown dragon known as Mirth at 17 turns in his second time standing on the sands.

After spending many turns at his home Weyr, he jumped at the opportunity to join a new Weyr in the south. He hoped to leave behind his "history" with women and to eventually find someone with whom to establish a long term relationship. He reached a point in his life where he desired more than just a one night stand with whomever happened to comes along. A short time after his arrival there, he developed a strong, loving relationship. Then, his weyrmate Impressed and now he finds himself alone - again. Yet, he is unable to continue his life as before and is again looking for change.

E'dias quickly became a valuable asset to his wing and showed leadership qualities. As time continued, he took on more and more responsibilities, unasked. Now, a Turn and a half later, he is older, wiser and a Wingsecond.

E'dias firmly believes in duty, honor, and loyalty. When respect is earned, he gives it without question. He is a steadfast friend.

Description: An average size brown of proportionate weight. Everything is in exact proportion with nothing too long or too short. He is right in the middle of the scale. His colouring is a deep, dark mahogany with dark orange/red accents tingeing the ridges, headknobs, leading edges, and muzzle.

Personality: Contented, somewhat lazy and with a dry sense of humour, Mirth is very amicable and sociable. Upon arrival to the southern Weyr, he desired that his rider to enter into a long term relationship with a woman. He sensed that E'dias needed the stability and was constantly playing matchmaker for E'dias with green riders by talking with their dragons. One such rider, Lucaya, developed a strong friendship with E'dias and Mirth has won all of her dragon's flights. Mirth ceased playing the matchmaker when E'dias took on a steady relationship.

Mirth is all business when flying thread. He has a passion for burning the Thread out of the skies. He is a cold and consummate assassin of Thread - a professional.

Pet Description: A flitter of four turns, Spoof is a clown. His antics are the cause of much laughter in the weyr. Spoof is always getting into some kind of mischief and it is not unusual to hear, "SPOOF!!! Look what you've done!" Spoof is an imp, but a warm and loving soul. Spoof no longer spends much time with E'dias as he is very drawn to his former weyrmate, Sheeja. Spoof is torn between his loyalty and friendship with E'dias and his friendship with Sheeja.
