Description: V'wan is of medium height and looks younger than he actually is. He has thick, black hair that hides a few tell-tale greys and He keeps it a little longer than his wingleader would like. He has an olive complexion that seems to darken into a tan the minute he has a day of sun. Occasionally, he will grow a mustache, but that's about all the change he'll subject himself to.

Personality: V'wan tends to be soft-spoken and has a since of humor that takes the form of personal jokes. He has that talent after continually, cleaning up after his Wingleader's manner, that tends to offend many people. Calming short-tempers is his forte. He has a way of looking at a person that suggests listening patiently until the person actually has something to say. He then replies in such a soothing manner that the hottest of rages are cooled. He's the perfect sounding board for the frequently irate Wingleader R'dat and fulfills that role with quiet dignity.

Background: Vonwan was born on a ship to two sailors who brought him up in the ways of seacrafting. His sharp vision quickly had him performing look-out duties on the darkest of nights and he came to appreciate the stars and have an interest in the starcraft option in Smithing.

Humoring their son's whim, his parents granted him a brief visit to the Weyr where the smiths there were helping with the starcraft. The green who transported him, Searched him that very day. Fascinated with the stars and not really expecting to Impress, Vonwan accepted, just to spend a longer time there with the smiths who also grew to like the boy. His Impression came as a surprise to everyone.

V'wan was reluctant to transfer to Ithaca and be so far away from home, but he heard that some Starsmiths were leaving for that shore as well. After many a tearful good-bye to his family and friends, V'wan followed his Wingleader to the Western Continent.

In his room, there are spans of charts maps and equations related to the starcraft as he hopes to continue his hobby in his new home.

Description: Cargameth is a little larger and darker than most browns. He has several Threadscores on his wingtips and tail tip, but the most notable is on his right leg: a wide pale slash that leads to his hindclaw. Any experienced dragonhealer would see it and comment that the brown had been lucky not to have lost it.

Personality: Cargameth has the same personality as his rider with ten times his lust. He's is not happy if he hasn't tried for a green at least once a sevenday and is a constant participant in queenflights, though he has never won one. He tries to be considerate of his rider's duties, of course, but it's not uncommon for V'wan to leave the Dining Cavern, irritated that he had been dragged away from his meal. Again.
