Welcome to Islands of Pern!Islands of Pern (IoP) is a Play by E-Mail (PbEM) club set in Anne McCaffrey's world of Pern. The setting is the Western Continent in an alternate 9th Pass. AIVAS has not been discovered. Thread will continue to fall after the current Pass, and there has been no technological revolution; the society remains pre-industrial. In this club, members create personas who interact with one another in posts that are sent through member-only email lists.
